British rosé veal is the premium meat from young bull calves. Similar to beef but with a smoother texture, greater tenderness and a richer taste, it’s a perfect alternative to beef, lamb or pork.
It is available in the same cuts and formats as beef, including steak, roasting joints, mince and casserole pieces with the additional specialities of calves liver and shin (known as Osso Buco).
British rosé veal is experiencing a well deserved surge in popularity throughout the UK, becoming increasingly available in supermarkets, farm shops and farmers markets and found on the menus of leading pubs and restaurants.
