Best Managed Farm

At the 2008 Westmorland County Show, Heaves Farm was proudly awarded first place in the Westmorland County Agricultural Society’s ‘Best Managed Farm’ competition.

The award was presented in recognition of the quality of the stock, crops and grassland at Heaves Farm. Roger previously won the trophy in 1981 along with his brother Jonathan and Dad Chuck when they farmed together at Lawrence House Farm.

Roger and Gary were presented with the William Atkinson Perpetual Challenge Cup by the Show President Bill Philip and his wife Margaret.
