Country Fest 2009

Over 10,000 people attended the first ever CountryFest at the Westmorland County Showground, celebrating the North West’s fantastic food and drink.
This is brand new event organised by the Westmorland County Agricultural Society and was attended by celebrity chef and guest of honour, Clarissa Dixon-Wright.
Incorporating the former Westmorland Food Lovers Festival, Country Fest gives a real taste of the countryside, celebrating the quality and diversity of the superb independent food and drink producers and suppliers that abound in Cumbria and the North West.
