A meeting on social networking site Twitter introduced Heaves Farm Veal to Michelin starred chef Tom Aikens, who has made it a regular inclusion on his menu.
Tom is one of the UK’s leading chefs, opening Tom Aikens restaurant in 2003 to critical acclaim and receiving a Michelin star in 2004. He opened his second restaurant, Toms Kitchen in 2006.
Tom was keen to find a UK supplier of rose veal and when he came across Heaves Farm Veal Twitter, he got in touch immediately to see if we could supply him. Tom was impressed with the sample he got from Alternative Meats and as a a result has made it a permanent fixture on his menu at Tom Aikens restaurant.
